Meet The Team

Our co-founders have already been working with each other for years at two startups. The first one was EazyCoach, an ed-tech startup which got acquired by investors from Citibank UAE. The second one is Timespade, a development-focused digital agency that counts the likes of PepsiCo and Unilever as its clients.

Om Agarwal: Co-founder / Chief of Product

Om is a self-taught programmer turned entrepreneur. Flipping ‘.com domains’ since age 13, he founded two Web 2.0 ed-tech startups in college, one being a profitable, bootstrapped operation; and the other one being venture-funded and successfully getting acquired. After securing the exit, he started working with organisations such as Nestle, American Express and PepsiCo, solving top-line & bottom-line challenges by leveraging data and deep tech. This introduced Om to the blockchain. Having experienced “bad hires” throughout his journey, at Whalepod, he is leading the development of the decentralised Metaverse and AI Recruiter.

Sweta Gupta: Co-founder / Chief of Design

Living and breathing creativity, Sweta has been designing beautiful-yet-functional User Interfaces (UI) for the last 10 years for brands such as Walmart and Samsung, with a recent passion for 3D object designing. Having managed to amplify brand impact and revenue with great designs, she is determined to give UI/UX the recognition it deserves. At Whalepod, Sweta is taking charge of designing in the metaverse, including the characters, virtual HQ templates for companies, competition rooms, talent management spaces and more.

The founding team is supported by an experienced team, with proven capabilities in software engineering, designing, marketing, blockchain development, and business operations.
